OUTLAW/KING FIRST 9 MINUTES | ICONIC MOVIE REVIEWS

I decided to watch the first 9 minutes of this movie and let me tell you I can’t wait to watch this movie in it’s entirety. It’s currently on Netflix if you have a subscription. The reason I only watched 9 minutes is the first 9 minutes is one shot. It’s unbelievable! Chris Pine is also one of my fav actors.

Outlaw/King stars Chris Pine and is based historically around the year 1300 in Scotland. Scotland lost their last heir and allowed King Edward of England to rule while they find a new heir to the throne and of course King Edwards takes for control and makes every submit to him including Robert the Bruce (Chris Pine). I think this movie will be just as ICONIC as Brave Heart.

Robert was one of the most famous warriors of his generation, and eventually led Scotland during the First War of Scottish Independence against England. He fought successfully during his reign to regain Scotland’s place as an independent country and is today revered in Scotland as a national hero.

Directed by David Mackenzie

David Mackenzie (born 10 May 1966) is a Scottish film director and co-founder of the Glasgow-based production company Sigma Films.[1] He has made nine feature films including Young Adam (2003), Hallam Foe (2007), Perfect Sense (2011) and Starred Up (2013).[2] In 2016, Mackenzie’s film Hell or High Water premiered at Cannes and was theatrically released in the United States in August. In October 2016, Mackenzie boarded Damnation – a TV pilot for Universal & USA Network. In 2017, Mackenzie began filming the historical epic Outlaw King, a feature film for Netflix due for release in 2018.

Have you seen the Outlaw King starring Chris Pine? You can only see it on Netflix. Hopefully you have a subscription to Netflix.

The Outlaw King has the Potential to be Iconic.
