5:155:45 It's also a reference to 'The Dress' where Gumball had to wear his mom's wedding dress, only to deal with Darwin's affection after inviting him to the Stomach Churner.

Also the note book has Cartoon Networks "CN" meaning it could be a potential script.

I thought it was a reference to highlander the quickening. Since it was a pale comparison to the original.

  11. Jesse Reis

What if Gumball Referenced Freddy Kreuger from A Nigthmare On Elm Street? WHAT IF?!!!!

I felt like the animification (just made that word up) of darwin and gumball is especially a reference to that one youtuber animator who sometimes decides to re-animate some gamball scenes as anime. Y-you know who I’m talking about, r-right? Just search up “if amazing world of gumball was an anime” and you’ll get it.

This is a really awesome episode and told a lot of good jokes about people who try to ship things. Let's not try to mess this up by talking too much about the whole otaku reference. It was just on her shirt big deal. But I have to say this weeaboo is a made-up American term even if it did start out in Japan it is mostly now an insult in America for someone who is too much into Japanese culture. It should have never really been a thing. Otaku has been around for a really long time and is only used to describe people who go to cons or like anime or Manga culture in America it is known mostly as a positive thing. They call fans otaku's at Con's when they're trying to bring people together and be inclusive so let's never try to say it's an insult in America it is mostly known as a positive thing let's keep it that way. They literally have nothing alike otaku means someone who is too interested in almost anything they just have a hobby that they spend too much time with. In Japan it is a big insult actually when you call someone that and it can be used for anything if they're too much into anything. A weeaboo is literally just a made-up American term at this point. Where people say you're acting too much like a Naruto character like running like a ninja or anime character. They are nothing alike and it should have never even been made up because honestly when people make up these kind of insults they have no idea what they're talking about. It's mainly those type of insults for someone from the outside to try to describe someone from the inside of a fandom those kind of insults are just not needed there's a lot of them already . outside or inside a culture just needs to stop if you're a fan of the show that's cool if you're way more of a fan of the show just get along and talk about the parts to show you do like

The "オタク" on that shirt is katakana, not kanji, Just saying.
